I awoke from a deep sleep on the 1st of January, 2024, to hear this refrain … ‘Hail to the shining warriors of Yemen!’ It sounded like a hymn… Was I hallucinating the voice of angels singing? No, I don’t drink nor have I ever taken drugs. This was just my own brain, trying to make sense of recent events and waking me up with a dollop of hope!
