In the U.S. today, we’d have what you call a hybrid model. Some blend between an oligarchy and a democracy — with the caveat of our democracy being a constitutional representation of the people. Not a raw democracy.

H,,, the western pretence of 'democracy', is just a fig leaf, disguising what is actually, a tyrannical oligarchy. Ask Assange. Or the millions of people who marched to try to stop the illegal, groundless invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan.
