It’s clear that the legacy of scholarship produced by both Kindī and Farabī laid the foundations for the development of Arabic logic as an independent tradition; an example of such influence would be Farabī’s contribution to the debates surrounding the relationship between logic and language and how they interact with one another, hence why many of the introductory treatises of Arabic logic often begin with an examination of how logic interacts with language.
