It didn’t take long to get a response. I was ambushed into a meeting, where I was told that my responses were viewed as inflexible. As if there was no room for growth, and my response wasn’t appreciated. To which, I alerted my supervisor that I did not consider the depths of her appreciation when I answered the questions. I was telling the truth, as I always had. So when I politely answer the questions you ask, my words are not heeded or listened to, but when I get pissed off about the same shit on a different day, I am inflexible, which is code for angry. When I’m polite, I’m ignored, when I’m angry there’s no room for growth.
