Emilia, I was physically attacked by Muslim men when I protested by giving a speech concerning the girl who converted to Christianity, and she was beheaded by her father, in the UK.

I have challenged various women' harming customs and values throughout my career as a teacher/lecturer, whose students were affected and who turned to me for support.

But when people are facing daily massacres, the trauma of losing multiple family members, friends, and neighbours, along with facing losing their homes, and on top of all that, they are experiencing, starvation. and thirst, to talk about a cultural phenomenon that yes, requires challenge and to be changed, is still, wildly inappropriate.
