Does having zero interest in the culture of the spouse from the exploited/dominated/invaded group count as racist ? Katy got involved with my brother (both of our parents are of Indian /Pakistani descent. She was u think intrigued and excited about the differences and saw it as a victory over our mother when he finally married her . So I think it was about self assertion and desiring a subtle kind of dominance . Her compulsive attachment to my brother does not extend to any interest in his mother tongue, his origin nations history, literature or anything else . Consequently the children of this union are all white culturally if not their biological heritage . The only exception so far, is the youngest - perhaps because he spent the most time with his grandparents and me , his auntie.
