Despite the landmark employment tribunal case earlier this year, (centering on the lecturer from Bristol University who had been dismissed) which found that Zionism is counter to the Equality Act, 2010, and it is a philosophical belief, and so it's not anti-semitic to oppose Zionism, the huge resources of the Zionists have continued to be used to silence dissent and smear any opposition to them as 'anti-semitic'. So given this context, the public stance of such Rabbis gains all the more significance.
