Isn’t it our happy memories that sustain us?
Today I decided to write about the kindness and generosity of people who crossed my path in life in ways that years later, still make me smile inside.
Such memories are sustaining me in my current challenges. I shall write of twenty such true gems. I hope they will give you a taste of the soul-warming, body-nurturing experiences that still fill me with faith and hope in people though I’m far from the Pollyanna I used to be.
It’s a reminder that some little action of ours can be a source or shall I say, sauce that surprises and spreads an aroma that delights long after the encounter.

A Connection Forged in Greek Grapes!
It was my very first holiday out of England. I was happy and excited to be exploring the Greek island of Rhodes. It was spring, the air was a balmy warmth and such a wonderful change from living in noisy, polluted overcrowded old London. I was there for two weeks with David. I loved walking between the flower-strewn hillside where we were camping and the seashore with its incredibly clear, turquoise waters.
