Cherish the person who offers you everything.

I have a male friend from Uni days whose two most lengthy relationships were /are with women who were/are greedy, selfish, manipulative and deceitful... he seemed to like the challenge of changing them by being endlessly patient, generous, hard-working and giving his all to please them.

Now he is an empty shell of himself. Sad.
