Beautiful and heart-rending and evocative as all great poetry is...

I 'm thinking of the people raising their voices to protest all over the world; including those within the Empire of colonial rulers who have seen through their conditioning and are risking jail to physically attack the places manufacturing the weapons or blocking their departure from ports, such as th group, Palestine Action.

Then there are the Yemeni people... how many died from the bombs and starvation perpetrated by the same war-mongerers, and yet the survivors have dared to oppose the combined might of the USA/UK/Israel and whatever resources the rest of NATO are throwing at them.
