So , they initiated the violence using military hardware, and have continued doing so in the subsequent 70 or so years. Why do you not call them rerrorists, but people with little resources, and ket in a state of being half -starving, subjected to attacks on a near daily basis, are 'terrorist' when they respond to defend their rights? In that case, those resisting Nazi rule by blowing up trains were not heroic Resistance fighters either.
