For me the highlight of writing on Medium is the immediacy of responses - especially people whom I want to hear from - in fact that felt like the biggest loss when my account was suddenly suspended. To me, the comments you and others have left are just as precious if not more so, than the article or poem itself, so when I felt I might have saved my own work, but might lose the comments I felt absolutely robbed - and very vulnerable and helpless.
