I regularly watch a TV programme on adopted children as adults, seeking their birth mother/family. The anguish these people go through...as they try all their lives long, to resolve feelings of rejection, abandonment , loss , confusion. Most often it's some adolescent teenager's rumblings taht led to the pregnancy, and a child, having a child.
