Although I’m absolutely nowhere near the level of scientific analysis of Richard Crim, it seems to me that even he is probably underestimating the level of mayhem that has been unleashed as the effect of each failure (to stop the use of pesticides, stop CO2 emissions, lower population growth drastically etc ) will have an accelarating effect on all the individual factors relating to climate change as well as a compounding effect when taken together.
People — (including just about all of the so-called experts in their so-called fields) are scared of acknowledging the horrifying reality of mass extinctions, societal breakdown, widespread floods, fires and famine.. we humans are hardwired to be terrified of being isolated, rejected and ridiculed. So scientists too, toe the line of convenience and cowardice.
For instance, out of all the thousands of people working in NSA, we had only one whistleblower — Edward Snowden and out of hundreds of thousands more in the Amerikkan military across the decades, we had only one with the moral courage and steadfastness of Chelsea Manning.
