Actually Lisa I think you did very very well, to leave after 18 months because so may of us as women are expected to 'MAKE MARRIAGE WORK'! And most of the women I know suffering in unhappy , even tortuous marriages where they are diminished in a multitude of ways, put their whole life on the line, hoping that more self-sacrifice/submission/love etc etc will be the magic wand that works miracles.
