Over years and years

I tried, I tried.

Truth and tradition

In my parents’ home

Swam separate

Like oil and water.

Still I’m the scapegoat

Sent out into the desert.

Most parents become so quite accidentally, quite thoughtlessly, and have failed to address a single flaw in their character or generational gaps in awareness and character deficiency tht have become normalised... wonderful you responded by making more conscious decisions, like have only one child and thus having the time and energy to dedicate to fulfilling well, your child's needs. Let's stand tall and be proud and celebrate each other, those of us who make different choices from our egotistical and less aware parents.
